HOW THE HUNT WORKS
The work is the address itself. It has to start with the launch code and end with bada55 — 39 bits, about 550 billion tries. The code comes out of the block after the mint opens, so nothing can be stockpiled beforehand, and only the holder of the key can mint from the address they found.
EPOCHS & PRICE
Supply runs in five windows of 1 111 and entry goes up by 0.001 ETH each window, so late supply is never the cheap way in. Difficulty stays the same all the way through: the pattern is the pattern. Rare types fall out of the same hash as every other trait, so they sit at random across the whole supply: zombie, ape and alien together are 1.2% of the 5 555.
TRAITS & LAYERS
Ten layers, 91 traits, stacked in one order by the seed the contract derives from your address. Hair and headwear are one layer, so a punk wears either its hair or a hat. Skin follows the punk type and the background tone is rolled on its own, both painted by role instead of by colour, so one drawn head works in every palette. The image is a 24×24 raster in contract storage, wrapped so nothing smooths the pixels.
